Now Available in Idaho Falls
Maggie's Place LLC provides tutoring in Math and Reading at our Idaho Falls Tutoring Center, for students in grades K-12 including special needs students. Our program is a dynamic and designed to engage students in one-on-one instruction and in small groups of no more than four (4) in positive minded instructional strategies.
We work directly with the student's textbook and augment the lessons with reinforcement of foundational skills. We use SRA McGraw Hill Reading and Excel Math to implement an integrated approach of tutoring. For the PSAT, ACT and SAT, we use Kaplan, Princeton Review and CollegeBoard study and test prep materials.
Throughout our instruction, we use AIMSWeb Plus to guide our instruction, measure and inform our process, and monitor and benchmark our progress.
Our tutors are professionals and they truly care about your student's academic success. They are trained and equipped to work with your student to identify core areas for study and pursue excellence and success as a team. In addition, Maggie's Place tutors work closely with parents or guardians of our students and we will keep you informed of every step of their progress along the way.
Sessions are held for 1 hour intervals, 1-3 times per week. Tutoring is also available on Saturdays and Sundays by appointment.

ACT or SAT? Both tests have their merits. Whichever test your student takes, our Test Prep programs are designed to maximize the score potential of each individual. Our program features an initial parent meeting with the instructor to discuss their student’s particular goals. Students will spend individual assessment time with our instructors, and then meet for 3 hrs a week for four weeks in preparation for the the exam date. Students will take sample tests on the first and last sessions to monitor progress and gain testing confidence before taking the actual exams.
