Position: Program Manager

Description: A Maggie's Place OnSite Program Manager holds primary responsibility for one of our on-site, after-school programs.  The Program Manager facilitates the curriculum, establishes and builds relationships with client families and school administrative staff, is directly responsible for the care of the students in his/ her program and follows daily program routines. An excellent Program Manager will have completed college coursework in or related to child development, teaching, or recreation, and brings a very positive, compassionate, energetic and cheerful personality to the program.  Applicants currently enrolled in college are encouraged to apply, as we can accommodate most school schedules.  

Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check.  First Aid and CPR Certification will be required as a condition for employment.  We do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender or sexuality, national origin, religion or disability. Hours typically follow the school bell to 6pm, M-F.  Compensation depends on education and experience.

Position: Academic Tutor

Description: A Maggie's Place Academic Tutor brings his or her love for learning and teaching to the students and families we serve.  Our students range from grades K-12 and come to us for help with Math, Reading, Writing, Science and SAT/ACT Test Prep.  Our tutors are positive minded, have excellent communication skills, work well 1-on-1 with students, can teach by asking questions of the student and provide ample, positive feedback.  An excellent tutor shares their love for the subject material and establishes a positive and encouraging rapport with the student.  Tutors work with the students beginning with an initial assessment, through immediate needs, reinforcing foundational skills and regular benchmark probes.  Excellent academic GPA, previous experience tutoring, and letters of recommendation all contribute toward a strong application.

We are currently seeking to fill 3-4 Academic Tutoring positions for our Pocatello Learning Center by August, 2018.
