Role: Program Manager

Description: A Maggie's Place OnSite Program Manager holds primary responsibility for one of our on-site, after-school programs.  The Program Manager facilitates the curriculum, establishes and builds relationships with client families and school administrative staff, is directly responsible for the care of the students in his/ her program and follows daily program routines for Snack and Chat, Homework Help, Group Games, Extra Enrichment, and Core Curriculum. An excellent Program Manager has education in child development, teaching or recreation and brings a very positive, compassionate, energetic and cheerful personality to the program.  Applicants must pass applicable background checks and be First Aid and CPR Certified.  We do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender or sexuality, national origin, religion or disability. Hours typically follow the school bell to 6pm, M-F.  Compensation depends on education and experience. Role: Academic Tutor

Description: A Maggie's Place Tutor brings his or her love for learning and teaching to the students and families we serve.  Our students range from grades K-12 and come to us for help with Math, Reading, Writing, Science and SAT/ACT Test Prep.  Our tutors are positive minded, have excellent communication skills, work well 1-on-1 with a student, can teach by asking questions of the student and provide ample, positive feedback.  An excellent tutor can share a love for the subject material and establish a positive and encouraging repoire with the student.  Excellent academic GPA and letters of reference from former or current instructors are encouraged.  Must be able to pass an background check.
